The Washing Machine Man began in 1999 with less than $1,700 from a wedding wishing well. We bought a 600 work van, a moving dolly and put what was left with my paycheck from the Journal Sentinel to move into a house that had a garage and basement. That garage was the first shop. Today, the company provides dependable reconditioned appliances, in-house service, full-service delivery and jobs that teach useful skills. Twenty-six years later, the mission is still simple: treat people right, do what's right, stand behind what we sell and make sure you get your money's worth if not more.
